Heresy

Heresy started in Poland in 2021, built by a small crew who'd already spent a decade backstage in specialty coffee. Piotr Jeżewski taught himself to roast, then got taught properly by a World Champion, picked up his Q Grader and now teaches roasting on three continents. The rest of the team ran PR for Coffeedesk, judged national championships and pulled shots behind cafe bars. Different paths, same heretical streak.

Reforming Coffee, One Heresy at a Time

At Heresy, the rules are simple: only microlots scoring 86 points or higher make it into a jar. Farms and producers matter more than shiny brewing gear, and tasting notes get drawn as circles instead of overcomplicated wheels. It's specialty coffee without the gatekeeping, just unpopular opinions the team is happy to stand behind.

Small Batch, Big Opinions

Heresy calls itself a turbo nano roastery, and it means it: small batches, brown jars, zero interest in doing things the way everyone else does. They'd rather visit a farm than buy another gadget, and every coffee on the shelf is one they'd actually want to drink themselves. Unorthodox by design, and proud of it.
