The story:
Nectar blends two standout lots, one from Sidama, Ethiopia and one from Santa Barbara, Honduras, both grown around 2050 MASL. Our partners at Heresy ran the Ethiopian side through a natural process and the Honduran side through fermented honey, then blended the two to land on 87 points with the SCA and a shot built for sweetness first.

The taste:
Stone fruit and delicate flowers open the shot together, with citrus and chocolate rounding things out through the middle and finish. The two processes show up as distinct layers rather than blending into mush, so you can taste both halves of the blend if you slow down and pay attention. A genuinely interesting shot for a blend.

The feeling:
Pull it as a straight shot to taste the blend at its purest, or stretch it into a flat white where the stone fruit sweetness really shows up against the milk. Both processes were chosen with milk drinks in mind, so it holds its own whichever direction you take it. A dependable daily espresso with real character.

About the roastery

Heresy is a turbo nano roastery out of Poland, and they've got opinions. Since 2021 they've only roasted microlots scoring 86 points or higher, because life's too short for boring coffee. Founding roaster Piotr Jeżewski is a Q Grader trained by a World Champion, and the rest of the crew has judged national championships and run PR for some of Poland's biggest coffee names. No fussy tasting wheels, no gatekeeping, just small batches in brown jars they'd actually want to drink themselves.
