The story:
Twenty-four mornings, twenty-four numbered jars, zero repeats. Our partners at HAYB Coffee Roasters packed this Advent Calendar with 24 jars of 36g specialty filter coffee. Seventeen coffees are roasted by HAYB, and seven come from friendly roasters in Poland and abroad, including Audun Coffee, Boo Coffee Roasters, Parcel Coffee, Wildkaffee and Sheep & Raven, some of them made by coffee champions. In total you get 864g of whole beans to count down to Christmas.
The taste:
The lineup is a secret on purpose. Every jar carries a QR code with details about its coffee, and the code stays locked until the date printed on the jar. The descriptions behind the QR codes are in English. Virtual Sensory Notes guide your tasting, and origins, processes and flavours change from day to day, so each morning is a small surprise. All coffees are 100% Arabica and light roasted.
The feeling:
36g is the ideal dose for two cups, so you can share a jar or brew it twice and try different recipes, on a V60 or AeroPress for example. The calendar also comes with gold stickers and educational content to go with your daily cup.
