The story:
This washed Catuaí comes from Finca El Puente in La Paz, Honduras, a region known for high-quality specialty coffee. The farm is managed by Marysabel Caballero and her husband Moises Herrera, who have won numerous awards, including Cup of Excellence recognitions. Our partners at Ditta Artigianale roast it to order in Florence to keep the sweetness and balance in focus.

The taste:
Chocolate adds depth and warmth, green apple brings freshness and a slight acidity, and subtle cookie notes add a comforting richness. The sweetness is balanced and the cup feels clean and gentle from the very first sip. A friendly washed coffee that shows how approachable and charming Honduras can be, with a finish that stays soft and sweet.

The feeling:
Brew it in a V60, Chemex or Clever Dripper for an easy, sweet and clean cup, or pull it on your espresso machine for a chocolatey shot with a crisp apple edge. Perfect for everyday drinking, and a coffee from a farm with an award-winning story behind it. A reliable pick for anyone discovering specialty coffee from Central America.

About the roastery

Ditta Artigianale is a Florence roastery that treats coffee like a craft and a story worth telling. Since 2013, founders Francesco Sanapo, a barista champion and Italy’s best coffee taster, and Patrick Hoffer have travelled far for exclusive micro-lots and roasted them with hot air and patience. The roasting crew is Q Grader certified and includes Italy’s best roaster of 2019. Five coffee bars and a coffee school later, they still love telling the story behind every cup.
