1. Light Roast: The Berry Explosion
Often called: Filter Roast, Modern Roast.
Think of light roast as the "HD resolution" of the coffee world. These beans are roasted gently to a lower temperature to preserve as much of the coffee cherry's unique character as possible. This is where you can truly taste the difference between a bean from Ethiopia and one from Brazil.
The Vibe: Crisp, complex, and tea-like.

Is Dark Roast stronger (more caffeine)? Short answer: No. Long answer: It’s a classic myth.
Many people believe dark roast wakes you up faster because it has a "bolder" taste. In reality, the roasting process actually burns off a tiny amount of caffeine. Light roast technically has slightly more caffeine bean-for-bean because it’s denser.
