The story: Luna is the brighter half of La Cabra's two year-round Profiles, built fresh each season from rotating lots. Right now that's Kii, grown by smallholders on the slopes of Mount Kenya near Ngariama, blended with Rutas del Inca, a washed lot from smallholder Caturra and Catuai farmers in Cajamarca, Peru. Two origins, one job: keep the cup lively.
The taste: Fresh orange, lemon, and dried apricot run through the cup, backed by a bright acidity that never turns sharp. Underneath it all sits a deep, integrated sweetness that keeps the fruit from feeling thin. This is Luna at its job: clarity first, always.
The feeling: Pull it as espresso or run it through an AeroPress for a concentrated, syrupy cup that holds its acidity well. It's just as happy in a milk drink, cutting clean through steamed milk instead of hiding underneath it. Built for people who want their coffee to taste awake.
