The story: MammaMia is a blend of four origins, Peru, Costa Rica, Ethiopia and Honduras, created by Francesco and dedicated to his mother and to the women producers he met while traveling. Each origin has a role: Peru brings mellow sweetness, Costa Rica fresh fruit, Ethiopia a floral touch and Honduras a complexity of spices. Roasted to order by our partners at Ditta Artigianale.
The taste: Chocolate and nuts lead, followed by ripe cherry and a warm layer of caramel. Acidity is medium-low, just as Francesco's mother preferred, so the cup stays soft and rounded. The Costa Rican freshness and the spices from Honduras add depth, leaving a sweet, comforting finish that stays with you for a long time.
The feeling: Pull it on your espresso machine for a sweet, chocolatey shot, or use it as the base of a flat white or cortado where the caramel and cherry carry through the milk. A warm, generous coffee for family breakfasts and slow mornings, made as a tribute to the women behind every cup.

About the roastery
Ditta Artigianale is a Florence roastery that treats coffee like a craft and a story worth telling. Since 2013, founders Francesco Sanapo, a barista champion and Italy’s best coffee taster, and Patrick Hoffer have travelled far for exclusive micro-lots and roasted them with hot air and patience. The roasting crew is Q Grader certified and includes Italy’s best roaster of 2019. Five coffee bars and a coffee school later, they still love telling the story behind every cup.
