The story:
A heartwarming family lot roasted by COFFEELAB. Sourced from the small T’xayalaj farm in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, this lot is managed by Maria Perez Morales and her children. Grown at 1660–1725 MASL, this light roast blends traditional Caturra, Catuai, and Typica varieties. Fully Washed to ensure crisp definition, it captures the absolute finest, timeless qualities of a classic Guatemalan comfort cup.

The taste:
Wonderfully balanced, sweet, and comforting. The flavor profile leads with the clean, juicy crispness of a ripe pear, smoothly transitioning into a bright, playful pop of fresh raspberry. The entire cup is beautifully grounded by a smooth, nutty foundation of sweet almonds, offering a deeply satisfying and endlessly repeatable experience.

The feeling:
This beautifully balanced lot is an absolute dream for the Aeropress or a flat-bottom dripper. The steady flow rate highlights the clean pear clarity while letting the sweet almond base build a smooth, comforting body. It is the perfect daily filter cup for those who want outstanding specialty quality without any overwhelming fermenty funk.
