The story:
Our partners at Coffee Collective found this lot with Reshad Albuls, a young producer who took over his family farm in Agaro, Jimma. Working without electricity or running water alongside six neighbouring farmers, Reshad processed these 74-112 cherries using the honey method. Grown at 1950 masl, this is one of his first honey lots, part of a partnership Coffee Collective started in 2023 to help fund his organic certification.

The taste:
Expect a sweet, layered cup built around ripe vanilla and juicy white grape, with a soft peach note settling in on the finish. The honey process gives it a rounder body than a washed coffee, while keeping the acidity gentle rather than sharp. It drinks clean and fruit-forward without ever tipping into heaviness.

The feeling:
Brew this one through a V60 or Chemex on a slow morning when you actually have time to taste it, or run it through an AeroPress for something quicker and just as sweet. It suits anyone who likes their filter coffee closer to dessert than to a wake-up call, no milk required.
