The story:
Boa Esperança is a Brazilian natural built from Yellow Catuaí and Mundo Novo, two varieties known for sweetness and a sturdy body. It comes from a producer our partners at Tanat have worked with for more than eight years, a relationship that shows in the consistency of every lot. Roasted to a medium dark profile made for espresso.

The taste:
Expect caramel up front, rolling into rich chocolate and finishing with toasted hazelnut. Acidity stays very low and the body sits comfortably in the middle, so the cup tastes round, sweet and easy to like. It holds its shape in milk without losing the sweetness behind it, which makes it a dependable base for any espresso drink.

The feeling:
Pull it on your espresso machine for a classic, syrupy shot, or build a flat white or cortado and let the caramel carry the milk. A dependable daily coffee for the morning rush, when you want something comforting that does the job every single time without asking for attention. Easy to dial in and forgiving.

About the roastery

Tanat is a specialty coffee roastery from Paris, and its founder can back up the hype: Alexis Gagnaire is a former competitive barista who's podiumed at both the AeroPress Championship and the French Coffee Roasting Championship. The team travels to origin themselves, buying directly from farms and cooperatives they've known for years, and every batch gets roasted with the same care you'd expect from an atelier. No shortcuts, no pods, just clean, terroir-driven coffee.
