The story:
We went to the high-altitude terrains of Chiapas, Mexico, to secure this classic crowd-pleaser from HAYB. Grown between 1500–2000 MASL, these Bourbon and Caturra cherries were fully washed to lock in a clean, heavy sweetness. Clocking in with an 84.5 SCA score, this medium-roasted lot is the antidote to overly sour espresso experiments. It’s pure comfort in a cup, built with absolute technical precision.

The taste:
Like drinking a liquid dessert. This espresso hits hard with a deep cacao bean and rich caramel sweetness that entirely coats your palate. There's zero bitter burn here—just a smooth, velvety body backed by a very subtle, juicy hint of tangerine to keep things alive. It’s sweet, thick, and incredibly satisfying.

The feeling:
Built for the espresso purists who want a heavy, comforting cup without the acidity punch. If you think coffee should taste like chocolate and caramel rather than grass or battery acid, El Buho is your new best friend. It cuts through milk like a dream but shines completely naked as a thick, syrupy shot.
