The story:
Jazz Fruits is a staple in the DAK line-up, and our partners at DAK bring it back every harvest they can. It is a Daye Bensa community lot of Grade 2 natural coffees from several washing stations in Ethiopia, a field blend of local landraces grown up to 2200 MASL. It is named after the Jazz Fruits playlists on Spotify.

The taste:
Juicy strawberry and sparkling mandarin lead the way, then a smooth wave of white chocolate rounds everything off. The sweetness is easy-going and the acidity soft, which keeps the shot friendly rather than sharp. In milk it turns into a strawberry cream treat, and as a straight shot it stays fruity, round and very drinkable.

The feeling:
Pull it as espresso and try it in a flat white to see the white chocolate shine. This is for anyone who wants fruity espresso without the wild ride. If you only want dark chocolate and smoke, look elsewhere. If you want a cheerful everyday shot, this one is a keeper.
