The story:
Finding a natural processed Kenyan coffee is like finding a unicorn that actually knows how to brew - it’s rare and slightly mythical. Our partners at DAK hunted down this field blend of SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian from the western slopes of Mount Elgon. This is an 1800 masl high-altitude rebel that spent up to 35 days sun-drying at Endebess Estate, breaking every "washed-only" rule the region is known for.
The taste:
This isn't a subtle cup; it’s an acidic assault in the best way possible. Expect a sharp, electrifying hit of tart cranberries and zesty blood orange that practically vibrates on your tongue. The profile is grounded by the structured elegance of oolong tea and a finish of bitter cacao nibs that keeps the complexity tight and prevents the whole thing from veering into simple juice territory.
The feeling:
This is for the person who thinks they’ve tasted everything Kenya has to offer and wants a new benchmark. If you’re a filter head who craves a cup that is bright, structured, and unapologetically "fruit-forward," you’ve met your match. It’s the ultimate high-voltage wake-up call for a slow V60 morning when you want a brew that actually has an opinion.
