Coffee Subscription Terms
Last updated: 11 September 2026
These Subscription Terms apply to all coffee subscriptions purchased from Holy Sip, operated by Holy Sip AB, org. no. 559565-1109, Pipers gata 10A, 593 38 Västervik, Sweden ("Holy Sip", "we", "us"). They apply in addition to our general Terms of Sale. If the two conflict, these Subscription Terms take precedence for subscriptions.
1. The subscription
1.1 Holy Sip offers two types of subscriptions: The Holy Sip-scription (Everyday Sip or Unlimited Sip) and The Usual Subscription. Several subscriptions can be held at the same time.
1.2 A subscription is an ongoing agreement that renews automatically until you cancel it in accordance with section 6.
1.3 Quantities are counted in bags. One bag contains 200 or 250g of coffee, depending on the roaster. A coffee packed in a 500g bag counts as two bags.
1.4 All coffee is delivered as whole beans. Coffee shipped under a subscription is dispatched no later than 6 weeks after its roast date.
2. The Holy Sip-scription
2.1 A Coffee Pack contains 2 to 6 bags per delivery, as chosen by you at purchase. The coffees are selected by Holy Sip and are not disclosed in advance.
2.2 Everyday Sip coffees are selected from a curated pool of approximately 30 coffees. Unlimited Sip coffees are selected from Holy Sip's entire range, which may include limited editions.
2.3 You choose between Filter, Espresso or Mix. If you choose Mix with the Customize option, we follow the distribution between filter and espresso bags that you have set.
2.4 You can choose Surprise me, in which case Holy Sip selects the coffees freely, or state a preferred flavour. A stated flavour preference is used as guidance when Holy Sip selects the coffees and is not binding.
2.5 Subscriptions with Surprise me selected do not include decaffeinated coffee. If you state a flavour preference and select decaf, one bag per delivery of that subscription will be decaffeinated coffee, unless otherwise agreed with us in writing.
2.6 The same coffee is never included twice in a single delivery. We aim to avoid repeating coffees between deliveries but cannot guarantee this.
3. The Usual Subscription
3.1 The Usual Subscription lets you subscribe to specific coffees from the list of eligible coffees shown on the product page. Holy Sip may add coffees to or remove coffees from this list.
3.2 Limited editions cannot be subscribed to.
3.3 The subscription price for The Usual Subscription is usually lower than the price for a one-off purchase of the same coffee.
4. Delivery
4.1 Deliveries take place every 2 or 4 weeks, as chosen by you at purchase. The interval is counted from the date of your first order ("renewal date").
4.2 Each delivery is dispatched on the renewal date or the following business day. If the renewal date falls on a weekend or public holiday, the delivery is dispatched on the next business day.
4.3 We currently deliver within Sweden only. Our standard shipping rates and methods, as shown at checkout, apply to each delivery.
4.4 Subscriptions with the same delivery interval may be combined into one shipment, and we may align their renewal dates for that purpose. On request, we may also add separate orders to a subscription shipment.
5. Price and payment
5.1 The price of a subscription is the price shown on the product page at the time of purchase.
5.2 By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Holy Sip to charge the payment method used for your first order on each renewal date until the subscription is cancelled.
5.3 If a payment fails, we will notify you by email and make up to three further payment attempts. A delivery is only dispatched once payment has been completed.
5.4 We may change the price of a subscription, for example if our partner roasters' prices change significantly. We will notify you of any price change by email before the payment to which the new price applies. You may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect without any cost.
6. Changes, pausing and cancellation
6.1 Through your customer account, you can skip a delivery, pause your subscription, and change the number of bags, the delivery date and the delivery address.
6.2 You can cancel your subscription at any time through your customer account. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
6.3 Changes and cancellations must be made no later than 23:59 on the day before the renewal date to apply to the upcoming delivery. Changes or cancellations made after that apply from the following renewal date, and any delivery already paid for will be dispatched as normal.
6.4 To switch to a different coffee under The Usual Subscription, cancel the current subscription and start a new one, or contact us and we will try to make the change for you.
7. Unavailable coffees
7.1 The Holy Sip-scription deliveries are put together from available stock. The unavailability of any individual coffee does not affect your delivery.
7.2 If a coffee under The Usual Subscription is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you, propose the closest available alternative and ask for your preference. You may accept the alternative, choose a different coffee or skip the delivery. If we are unable to reach you before the delivery is due to be dispatched, we will send the available coffee closest in profile to the one you subscribe to.
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1 Under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler), you have the right to withdraw from the subscription agreement within 14 days of receiving your first delivery.
8.2 To exercise your right of withdrawal, use our withdrawal form or send us any other clear statement to that effect through our contact form before the withdrawal period expires.
8.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken. This means that opened coffee bags cannot be returned.
8.4 Unopened products must be returned to us without undue delay. You bear the direct cost of returning the products. We will refund your payment no later than 14 days after receiving the products back.
8.5 Exercising the right of withdrawal ends the subscription.
9. Complaints
9.1 You have the right to complain about faulty or damaged products in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen). Please contact us through our contact form as soon as possible after discovering the fault, ideally with a photo. A complaint made within two months of discovering the fault is always considered to have been made in time.
9.2 If we cannot reach an agreement, you may refer the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), www.arn.se.
10. Gift subscriptions
10.1 When a subscription is purchased as a gift, the purchaser is the party to the agreement and is responsible for payments. The subscription continues until the purchaser cancels it in accordance with section 6.
11. Personal data
11.1 We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
12.1 We may update these Subscription Terms. Active subscribers will be notified of material changes by email before they take effect, and may cancel their subscription before that date without any cost.
