The story:
Our partners at COFFEELAB brought back Gemechu Shonora for a second year, and frankly, we’d have rioted if they didn’t. This is a masterclass in the traditional Kurume variety, a washed lot from the Guji region in Ethiopia. Processed with zero gimmicks—just a 24-36 hour wet fermentation—it hits an 87 SCA score with the kind of high-definition clarity that puts "experimental" lots to shame.

The taste:
This cup doesn't just wake you up; it electrifies your tongue with a high-voltage acidity. It’s like a liquid forest glade—packed with floral aromatics and the zesty, mouth-puckering snap of pomelo. Follow that up with the concentrated sweetness of berries and a clean, tea-like structure, and you’ve got a brew that’s as sharp as a laser and incredibly transparent.

The feeling:
We hunted this down for the filter purists who treat their V60 like a laboratory instrument. If you want a cup that tastes like a sophisticated botanical infusion rather than muddy morning sludge, this is your new benchmark. It’s the ultimate spring cleaning for your palate - bright, juiced-up, and unapologetically loud.
