The story:
Our partners at Coffee Collective reached the absolute limits of coffee-growing oxygen with this one. Grown by Lucio Luque at his farm, Nuevo Progreso, in the Incahuasi Valley of Peru, this Bourbon & Typica blend thrives at an astounding 2230–2250 masl. Those freezing Andean nights put the coffee cherries into a slow-motion survival mode, delaying maturation and forcing the fruit to dump a massive, hyper-concentrated reserve of pure sugar straight into the seed. It's a washed lot engineered by altitude.

The taste:
This cup is an incredibly dense, velvety liquid candy bar. It slams your tongue with a rich wave of creamy nougat and sweet milk chocolate, immediately structured by the dark, bittersweet crunch of raw cacao nibs. Underneath all that chocolatey weight, a heavy, concentrated undercurrent of rich dried fruit emerges, keeping the profile beautifully round and balanced without a single drop of aggressive, sour acidity.

The feeling:
This is for the "I want my cup to taste like a premium confectionery shop" rebel who hates acidic fruit bombs. If you want a filter brew that delivers an incredibly sweet, thick, and satisfying body for your V60 or batch brewer, Nuevo Progreso is your new daily benchmark. It’s an elite, unpretentious crowd-pleaser that proves extreme altitude can produce pure, decadent sweetness.
